Dissappointed this trip. Crawfish are out of season (not their fault). My order was undercooked. Stone crab claws werent done and there was no crab boil on any of the meal. What happened? This place used to serve good food
Great food, great girls, good place to relax and have a drink!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the known universe. It's such a funky little unique spot, and the food is always amazingly wonderful. It is fun to watch someone shucking your absolutely fresh oysters as you come through the door, and I'm always a fan of a restaurant that allows you to play with your food, make a mess, draw on the table in crayons, and then hang your beautiful drawing on the wall. So good, real boil, I'm drooling just thinking about it.
Went there with 5 others last night. It was terrible! Shrimp did not seem to be fresh. They were very hard to peel and had the texture of rubber bands. They had VERY little flavor. I had 1 potato. It wasnt done. I had about 3 slices of sausage. It tasted like hot dogs. Thank God for red sauce. Thats the only way I could choke down my order of " fresh" shrimp.
Food was great and atmospher was fun but the service was poor, we froze inside and requested one of the many outside tables but were told it would be "to much work for the waittress" ironicly we could barely get her to do her job at the inside table. I like the whole idea of eating the food piled on the table and wooden hammers to eat crabs but who ever came up with plastic forks to help tear into crab shells doesn't eat crab. Was not really impressed. Food was ok. Bread was amazing though and great service. Unfortunately. We will not be back
