First time coming here after driving an hr away. I do give honest feedback. (I was with a group of people where the mother in law paid for everything and I could have gotten anything I wanted.) Best place to get a prime rib in Iowa. And the owners and staff are great!
Long time 2nd generation, favorite of my family. Just completely newly remodeled specializing in the best steaks you can get anywhere. My favorite is there Prime Rib with the creamy horseradish sauce and if I get there too late in the evening and that's not available. I can always count on a ribeye that will melt in my mouth.
Salad bar is very limited! The salad plate is small and for the price of the meal you should be allowed more than one trip. The menu needs to be updated for the customer. Include information about the oz weight of the steak, if it's Angus beef and introduce other cuts. A t-bone , porterhouse , or New York strip. Offer maybe a sweet potato or steak fry as substitute to bake potatoes. My son ordered the sirloin and it looked appetizing. Medium rare but was still tough to chew. He had to use steak sauce for flavor.
