This speakeasy hid away in an intimate, novelty setting that made for a fun evening, though the tables were set quite close together. The steak was good, but tartar was not the best we've had. Also it is worth noting they do not serve any complementary bread or sides to start. Overall, a fun little spot.
Highly recommend a reservation - only 6 tables and 2 seats at the bar. Cozy atmosphere. Food and drinks were great. We were celebrating an anniversary so they gave us some champagne at the end of our meal. Interesting spot to get to going through The Wig Shop! Best dinner we had while in Boston.
My son and I made a reservation here for a late birthday celebration, and what a great find this place turned out to be. I went to Bogies place for my annual birthday steak and this place did not disappoint. Olivia was my server/bartender and was an absolute rockstar! My steak was seasoned and cooked beautifully. My side of potato and mushrooms were also delicious. Also, order the bone marrow. You won't regret it!
Unfortunately if you try to visit as just 1 person they tell you they are all booked all night even though you can make a reservation for 2. Not a good feeling to go in as they seat other groups but alone you are not wanted. Seems like they just want the money from two or more. Sad!
