The technician who came out to install a new part on my water furnace was friendly, knowledgeable, and had the part installed in just a few minutes. But it took months to receive an invoice, and when I did it was ridiculously high. It took many more weeks to get a response to my inquiry. They did reduce the invoice some but never admitted to price gouging, which is what they were trying to do. I will definitely not use them again, and would not recommend them. Who knew heating could be this sublime? Fast, thorough, high-quality work and new ducting that came in far below the city's allowable leakage limit, all making for an incredibly comfortable house, room to room, even during weather in the 'teens. We had become used to our old leaky ducts, so when the gas/AC unit conked out, we had to replace it, and the change was remarkable.
We recently had a problem with our (new) furnace and it was the day before a very large snowstorm hit. We needed someone quick and neighbors recommended Boer Brothers. They came out that night and said they could fix the problem, but that we could NOT use our warranty because that would require ordering the part, etc. Even with 12 inches of snow coming, they were not open to any other arrangement to get our heat back except us paying a large fee to fix it. I remember that one of our best technicians had come about an issue with a gas valve. We were not the ones who installed this system but we are always happy to help with parts warranties from other manufactures.
