Deep tissue massage is body Work, not particularly relaxing. I realized this almost immediately, because Mark got right to work on the very sensitive joints that needed the most work. It was what I needed, but it wasn't super comfy. We had to work together to ease the tension in my most pained places. 9/10. Will do again.
Mark is an expert at his craft. After one massage I am experiencing the greatest relief of symptoms from a 5-year chronic foot injury.
Great deep tissue massage! As a fitness professional and competitive athlete, I get a lot of body work done. This was my first time on Mark’s table, by recommendation, and I was not disappointed. Deep tissue is an acquired taste, to be sure. You really have to relax and let the therapist get into the muscle. Mark was great, very professional and helpful. I was visiting GJ for work and this was just what I needed after a long week.
Mark is amazing! I switched from another therapist about 6 months ago and I am doing so much better with my back pain and leg pain. Mark massages are unique and he tries to fix the problem. He is very knowledgeable on the different aspects of the body and knows what he is doing. It's so hard to find a great massage therapist!! I would highly recommend Mark!
