The man took $55,000 to do absolutely nothing. Failed to show at first appearance. Strategy was to wait to see if the "state attorney would forget or overlook the case". He knew that the case was extremely flawed and I had empirical evidence to exonerate me from the charges. But rode it out for 6 months while I wore an ankle monitor just to take that money. In my opinion one would have to have larceny in one's heart to take advantage of another. Steer clear. I will never be done getting this word out!
Worry more about the effects of his actions on clients. Be more careful handling cases.
