Edited review after business unnecessarily updated menus to AI. I live right down the street and Bodega Food Co has been such a great addition to the neighborhood!! Portions are generous and prices are very fair. Service is always quick and the quality is top-tier and consistent. Highly recommend their Cheesesteak and Chopped Cheese hoagie.
Used AI on their menu, the last menu was fine then they ruined it with slop. If you want pictures, take pictures. Don’t go here if you like clean water and don’t like AI infecting everything. Food is also mid anyway, not worth it.
Chicken chopped cheese on Jamaican patty was amazing. Fries cooked very well and seasoned well. Owner super nice and accommodating
I’ve been here twice now because I had to come back for the cheesesteak. It’s ridiculously good. The meat is chopped on the grill so it’s ridiculously tender and well seasoned, it almost melts in the mouth. It’s a far cry from the tough and bland steak that’s in a certain other cheesesteak spot on the other side of the Capitol Complex. The roll is really good too. So the actual food here is quite good, although sometimes it takes a little while to get it. But man, the AI slop on these menus ain't it. Makes the food look actively revolting. Digital camera snaps from 2003 would be better than that
