My wife and I stopped here randomly on a trip up the coast, we couldn't have picked a better place if we planned the trip. Pete (at the front desk) was great.
The inn was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with a handy common kitchen and well kept grounds. Pete provided a beautiful room at a great price when I dropped in without a reservation. Thru-cyclists, this is the place and Pete is your guy. Also of note: next door are a great cafe (top notch coffee, pastries, and breakfast burritos) and an art gallery with amazing CA landscape paintings by a resident artist as well as early 20th century pieces—not to be missed.
We had a very nice stay. A little expensive.
We were going to Bodega Head when we saw the Bodega Bay Inn and decided to take a look. We were pleasantly greeted by Ted who gladly showed us the accommodations. We loved it so much that we decided to stay for the night and invited the family to come over and spend the night as well. What a Great experience for Everyone! The Grandkids loved their adorable dog GiGi Already planning on our next visit!
