I never understand restaurants who think that arrogance is the key to winning customers. If you don’t treat people well, eventually people will go elsewhere. It’s not worth my time to complain at great detail over the restaurant’s appalling lack of hospitality, but I haven’t encountered such rudeness and rigidity in my travels ever. The food was average and our waitress was worse.
Have you ever been wowed by every portion of a dining experience? Have you ever felt like you've known the chef without meeting them? My experience at chef-owned and operated, BoccaLupo, was excellently sensational, and service with Amelia was an absolute pleasure. HAVE to go back. Chef Bruce, you speak my language. Fabulous food! No bad bites! Tuna and buratta were superb but the star of the show was kimchi, kale and mushrooms over pasta made in house. Wow! I get why a reservation is necessary. Room at the bar if you get there early.
