HORRIBLE SERVICE. My experience was almost identical to Chris Dale's.I chose "Bob's" because of some of the reviews, but now I question the validity of those reviews. I dropped off an older chainsaw and a 45$ deposit, then waited ...and waited... 2 months! I Called every week and each time the guy couldn't even find my slip. He clearly is too old to still be doing this. Today, after many calls, he finally told me that he is unable to fix it and that he was keeping the 45$ for "labor and time spent" on it. Very helpful, especially with preparing my lawn equipment before a cross-country move. Bob let me drop in without an appointment and did the work while I waited. Couldn’t ask for better service.
I am not one to usually write reviews, but after reading the last two and seeing how off base they are I felt I should say something. I have been to Bob’s to buy a weed wacker and have a snow blower repaired. All my service was prompt and my equipment worked as if it were new. I appreciate his experience and will only go to him for small engine repairs. Great to have a small town shop with fair prices.
Had a number of repairs done to a walk-behind leaf blower. Machine came back almost like new and at fair price with quick turnaround.
