RecommendedMark has been wonderful! He is working on replacing an electrical post (had to be scheduled with FPL) and recently went to check out what we thought may have been a faulty wire in the wall. He was very honest and prompt.

Out of 4 companies, Bobs Electric was the only one to respond to me when I needed someone for an emergency. Their staff understood my dilemma (shorted circuit which burnt up my breaker panel) and responded to my home and got me up and going again before all my food was a total loss. Despite some of the reviews, might I add that are about a year or so old this company was a life saver. Thank you!
Had an appointment for an estimate yesterday between 3:30 and 5. No show and no call.
When the owner came out to review what our needs were, he was great! But, that was the end of the great customer service. The workmanship was awful. It took their workman three visits - because they only stayed about 2 hours each visit. They left messes for me each time to clean up. The work was never completed even though I sent them a letter with my check requesting them to complete the work. VERY BAD experience. I highly recommend you do not use Bob's Electric.
Complete disaster... they committed to do the job and they never did it... they left saying it was going to be difficult (hook up a whirlpool and do the lights in the living room ) they told us the secretary was going to call us back... she never did nor have a new date for the job. Has been three weeks now and nothing. Worst service ever!
The company has been around for over 50 years and has a excellent reputation throughout Sarasota county.
Bob's was great. They were able to switch out my panels easily and for much less than other contractor bids.
