My salesman, Carlton, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. When I expected to simply be directed toward options, he seemed happy to escort me to several options each time I had a whim. Yet, he also allowed me to explore alone when needed. His attentiveness and patience was beyond what I have EVER experienced. Carlton is a wonderful asset to your team!
I ordered a recliner from Bobs discount furniture last September and the reclining mechanism broke last month. I purchased a 5 year warranty with my purchase and the reclining mechanism broke after only 1 year. I filed a claim with Guardian and was denied for insurance stating my warranty only covers accidental damage. It was not intentional so by definition would be an accident right? This isn't about a specific store but rather their customer service and corporate leadership team. They couldn’t tell me where my item was and when I was going to ship for 6 weeks — then when I requested to cancel they told me they couldn’t because it was going to ship. It’s like the opposite game. If you want info they don’t have it and apparently don’t have the power to help you. I’d avoid the headache- there are other stores with better customer service.
This stores customer service and phone service is the worst experience I have had in retail. First they tell me the furniture will be delivered by a certain date then tell me that date isn't possible and it will be another 2 weeks. So I try to contact someone from the castleton store on allosonville road and there phone loops me to other states and the other stores in these states send me back to them creating a loop that I have wasted 2 hours on the phone today.
