Bobby G's is a neighborhood staple. It's like if the spot from Cheers sold pizza, pasta, and paninis. The service gets slow when the Warriors or Cal are playing, even sometime when Michigan is playing, but that's the hazard of having a packed house. 13 beer taps and a rotating guest-beer list always means there's something to drink you'll love. Several house wines to choose from as well, your reds or whites with several choices apiece. I love this spot, especially for Fridays when Pliny the Elder goes on tap.
Great beer and pizza. Trivia night on Wednesdays is the best in the East Bay: the handsome British guy is so witty... Edit: came it for a quiet beer and a the owner Bobby was very rude about my cool jacket. Still gets five stars. Just thought I'd mention it.
