I'm kind of torn while rating this - on the one hand, I love their boba ice teas and smoothies, but I really don't like the food. The food tastes good while you eat it, but the salt and MSG overwhelms you after you finish.

Boba World The Boba drinks here come in so many flavors and are really tasty. They are like asian shakes/slushes made with fruit juice, tea, or coffee. They will ask you if you want it "with or without Boba." What they are talking about is large pieces of tapioca added to your drink. It is kind of weird to suck them up through a straw but if you can get used to it I hear it is really good (beware they are high in calories). I recommend getting any of their blended ones without the Boba. They also serve food but I just go the... read more

This is the best boba that I have found around Pasadena. I love their thai tea boba. My friends usually go for the more exotic drinks, but I stick with my old favorite. The food there is ok, but the boba really rocks my world. The service can be a bit slow. Very conveniently located in Old Town. Plus, you can collect stamps and eventually earn a free boba. What's better than free boba???

Great boba tea here. If you sit down, they've got a huge menu, and most of the stuff I've had is solid.

Not bad food, good boba Surprisingly, a pretty good place for food. Their Hong-Kong pan fried Noodles and Hainam chicken dishes have been very satisfying. All of their soup noodles seem to use the same stock, however. It's very distinct. Their boba is usually very good.

Great Boba Great boba and fast service. My favorite place to go once a week. This place is always busy so be prepared to wait shorty in line to order your drink/ I would recommend this place to my friends since their drinks are that good.

Definitely an alternative when you're low in cash and seek quantity over quality, Boba World's food is full of calories, MSG, salt and other unsavory touches that sacrifices health for flavor. The teas are perhaps a better bet than their food.

Great variety of Asian dishes (our kids love the Yakisoba), but the real kicker is the wide selection of smoothies available with boba (the drink craze sweeping Asia faster than Starbucks is growing in the U.S.!).

Cheaper than an espresso and much more fun to drink, boba tea drinks seem to have become the 20-something social beverage of choice, and Boba World has the best that Pasadena has to offer. If you've never tried boba, it takes a little getting usedto--sipping a drink and getting little tapioca balls in the process (effectively drinking and eating at the same time)--isn't something many of us are accustomed to. However, the drinks are delicious and the prices are great. Boba World will not accept credit cards for purchases les... read more
