My 2019 F-350 Power Stroke's A/C compressor disintegrated at 21,000 miles. Normally this would clearly be a warranty issue, however, it was past the 36 month bumper to bumper warranty period and two months past the Ford initiated seven year power train warranty. It turns out this compressor issue is a common premature and expensive failure occurrence in 2017-2019 Powerstroke engines. (Ford changed compressor manufacturers in 2020).
