If I could give 0 stars, I would. I would suggest to anyone considering the purchase of a Kia or Hyundai vehicle to research their massive engine failures/fires. Ask the service department how many vehicles they currently have on their lot with blown engines and how long they've been sitting there while the customers continue to make payments/keep insurance while having no loaner vehicle and no answers in sight. Would give 0 if possible. Bought 2 cars from them but their service department sucks. Needed possible warranty work on 2017 Sportage. Had a Wednesday appointment but picked my car up 5 days later and it was never looked at. Kept saying technician backup. The service customer reps were useless, The service manger refused to return my calls. Will never buy another KIA.
Bought a brand new 2021 Seltos from them over a year ago. They themselves set a standard videos be taken of every multi-point inspection they do. After making my wife wait over an hour and a half for an appointment she made almost 2 weeks prior the service was "completed" Come to find out they put way too much oil in the engine (past the full mark on the dipstick). Went in for two new tires because they were not able to be repaired. Got a text they repaired tires and oil change is done. Do I want wipers emission kit and filter for $560? I replied in a text because they don’t call Tires, wipers, emissions kit (no mechanic in town knows what that is, and filter 560? She said yes. I’m thinking $560 for all that I pay. Brought in car march 3 2022 for engine stalling. Used car still under mileage warranty. The tech said some sludge in engine. Stated they needed proof oil had been changed. Provided the information. Waited for corporate to decide. Many phone calls, visits later still no answer. Management changes. Let me start off by saying this dealership is pathetic and a bottomless pit of excuses. I brought my car in after only having it for maybe 6 months. The car was misfiring and there was no way go miss it. I was told that the technician working on my car would contact Techline and figure out the process to fix my vehicle. After about a month of calling to get updates and receiving excuses, the ONLY update I got in that time span was it was indeed misfiring due to compression being wrong in the cylinders. Just I would like to air out our concern about the management of Bob King Collision. We brought our car for repair due to the car being hit. We brought the car and rest assured that our car is safe as it was under their property. The car has been fixed and just waiting for some part ABS to fix the air bag on. The sales manager at Bob King Mazda never mentioned a "market adjustment" of almost 10% on a new vehicle, I had to ask where the extra $4,000 came from when looking at the printed offer. Offers were lacking details, like the finance APR and you're only shown the printed offer for a short period of time. Of course, the APR they chose is much higher than your credit score will probably allow. Negotiation details were quickly forgotten about if not in their favor.
12 days with our car in the service department and zero work completed! Repeatedly lied to, never a single returned call, left on hold for 40 minute stretches, a texting system with your service coordinator which was ignored repeatedly with numerous texts from me and never a single reply other than the initial introduction.
