Mr. Johnston had prepared my taxes for both business and personal. In the year of 2015, his office prepared the return forms omitting the sale of two properties. The IRS sent a notice dated May 1, 2017 stating an amount owed of over $485,000. Mr. Johnston was contacted several times to address the situation. Get your taxes done somewhere else people! Trust me! My story is too long to write . Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. 6/5/2019 Just an update on my situation . So they couldn’t figure out what was going on with my taxes (after 8weeks). I asked for a refund. I had payed for a service and that service wasn’t met. Anyways I finally got my refund from Bob in a check. And the check BOUNCED! Omg here I thought I was done with them. So I called and called and called. Been using these people for over 10 years. This year their assistant went on maternity leave without finishing a handful of clients tax returns for 2017. Sent my tax information to their assistant AMANDA, this is the exact response I received, "Hello, Yes, I have been working on your return, I will have it done for you shortly. Thank you for your understanding, Amanda" This was march 8th, plenty of time to warn me or let me know that you decided to stop filing my taxes.
