We visited Bob Evans in Westlake and had a pleasant overall experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was good and nicely prepared. We tried the Half & Half special, which we thought was good value for money and offered a nice variety. Their banana bread also deserves a special mention — it was really good and a lovely addition to the meal. The main downside was the service, which was quite slow. Not the Same... Terrible service, not clean, unattentive wait staff with very poor attitudes. I experienced cold coffee, long wait times for appetizers, bread, coffee (but an empty restaurant), and subpar food. I can see why this particular Bob Evans in Westlake looks has become an eye sore near the thriving Crocker Park shopping district. It's not because of their prices, it's the dismal service from the management to the wait staff. We remember when this Bob Evans location was a favorite spot to have breakfast when we traveled through the area; genuinely welcoming and friendly with cheerful staff and excellent food. Unfortunately, while those attributes may still exist at this restaurant, they were in rather short supply on a recent Sunday morning visit.
