You really can't go wrong with the tuna melt and fries.
This is the best diner I have been to in my life. Their patty melt is amaze balls. As is their country fried steak, fried bologna and eggs, fries, milkshakes. You name it- it is delicious!!!
I decided to spend my 30th birthday weekend in DC with friends. We stayed at a hotel right outside the city in Virginia and locals recommended this place... We looked forward to our after club meal. My order was mixed up with my sister's. The put the home fries she ordered (with mushroom and onions) on my plate and bought the ones meant for me to her. Great staff, good food, great experience. Despite an irate customer complaining about butter, the staff handled the issue with dignity and poise. I will for sure be back soon!

We are visiting from Boston and were recommended Bob & Edith's by an employee at our hotel. We love it here! We came here for breakfast every day of our trip. Great food and service. We'll definitely be coming back on our next trip!
