We stopped here on our way home after years of saying ‘we need to stop there’. I AM SO SAD IT TOOK US SO LONG TO DISCOVER THIS GEM! The interior is PRISTINE and way larger than it looks from the road; there’s extra long booths for larger parties that many places don’t have. I loved the 3-D dog tiles in the bathroom. Came here as a last stop before leaving Tahoe. Very chill atmosphere. The food was good and so was the service. They made it feel like I was getting a firm handshake and thank you for visiting South Lake Tahoe before we left to go home from our vacation. They even helped us celebrate my girlfriend's birthday which they absolutely did not have to do which made our short stop there all that much more special. Thank you for you hospitality!
We were stuck waiting for the pass to open up and got stopped right in front of Bob Dog Pizza (Thanks Lord!) I popped in after it was apparent we wouldn't be moving for some time. Lauren was working the counter with absolute grace and dignity in the face of hoards of disgruntled and tired travelers. She was amazing and deserves a raise. Excellent pizza! Thin and crunchy in the middle, toasty thick edges. Thw beat pizza I've had in years. I loved "The Green Greek" with gorgonzola cheese, calmata olives, artichokes, and caramelized onions - yumm!
