RecommendedUechi ryu is a great style!
I love listening to life lessons Sensei teaches during class. He weaves in lessons about being considerate ("when I say choose a partner, don't walk past someone to choose someone else. That hurts their feelings"). He also teaches not to cut in line, as that is not nice. Not only is my daughter learning karate, she is learning manners & consideration of others.
