Dr. Lissauer gave me back my life. He's a brilliant surgeon and I recommend him to everyone. I had Graves eye disease which left tissue around my eyes causing one of them to protrude. I went to a surgeon near my home to have the tissue removed. The results were terrible both structurally and aesthetically. Not only were my eyes left grossly asymmetrical, but the lid of the protruding eye would no longer close, causing a cascade of other issues. From the minute I met with Dr. Lissaur, I knew I was in the right hands. Dr. Lissaur is a very professional and mild mannered man. He took his time with me, listened to everything I had to say, asked me plenty of questions regarding the results I was looking for, and was also extremely patient in answering all of mine - even if they were redundant!!! Dr. Lissauer is a brilliant eye doctor and I'm very pleased with my results. He is a knowledgeable and lovely man and his office is very professionally run.
Dr. Lissauer is amazing! He reconstructed my entire lower eyelid after removal of a basil cell tumor which involved a skin graft from my upper lid. Today, only 3 months later, my skin graft is almost invisible and will blend in completely in time, but with a little cover up you can't tell there had ever been anything wrong. Dr. Lissauer is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. Exceptionally talented and gifted, he is tops in his field. When he treated me for medical issues, he was a great, thorough and careful diagnostician. I also have seen him for cosmetic procedures and I can say with total confidence that he has an artist's touch and a surgeon's hands; the results he achieves are always excellent and natural. Dr. Lissauer is the best!! He is so kind, knowledgeable, and a perfectionist. Since he is an ophthalmologist,I go to him for botox and fillers around my eyes and he knows exactly how much to put in and where. I would highly recommend him.
We will definitely recommend Dr. lissauer to anyone who needs his specialty.
Perhaps he is a good eye surgeon, but not good for filler treatment under the eyes, which is what I came in for. He left me with a bump and uneven appearance on one side and did not even put any filler on the other side. In conclusion, bad outcome and wasted a lot of money.
I really liked my experience with Dr. Lissauer. The results of the surgery were great.
