Tonight was our fourth visit. We have now experienced each part of the restaurant (the deck, the upper dining room, lower dining room as well as the catering hall upstairs). The food is delicious, the portions are very generous. The staff is always friendly and really made an effort to make our experience great. We had a party of 8 plus a 1 year old tonight. We had a beautiful view of the ICW. We even saw a dolphin playing in the water! The music was fun(a lot of Neal Young). The Boatyard is definitely one of our favorites!
I will start off with saying the service was nice and friendly. The food and treatment of the owner was a different thing. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 mid-rare the other meduim. They both came back well done. Who screws up a burger. Wait there's more we decided we didn't want it after one bite. We told the waiter he comes back and tells us that we have to pay for something we didn't eat. That's totally absurd. I guess local money doesn't mean shit. Great place to eat a little noisy
Omg they have the best seafood there ! We love going there whenever we in sarasota with the boat. Best oysters!
Service was slow but beverages were cold. It was about the people we were here with. Otherwise we would not return
Nice lunch , great water view. Great place to meet friends for lunch. Great waiters.
