Said to have the "best crab cakes" from First Lady Michelle Obama herself, the Boatyard Bar & Grill should not be missed! Located across the street from the Annapolis City Marina, you can be sure that all of the seafood at the raw bar are from the fresh catches of the day. The restaurant offers all sorts of dishes and is family-friendly, so come on down for some delicious (and affordable) food!

Best cream of crab soup. Every time my son has a Regatta in Annapolis, we go to the boatyard for a nice meal. We appreciate the fast service, since my son is very hungry after a day on the water
Met some good friends here. First time and it was absolutly wonderful. From the service to the food. Hands down a great experience.
Best Crab Cakes. Loved the smashed potatoes! Atmosphere is great. Parking is tight. Tuesday and Wednesday are the best days to go. Get ther by 4pm and no waiting. Staff is wonderful. Not cheap, leave the kids at home and it will be well worth it.

John Had to think about how to respond to your comments. We do always appreciate feedback and chef and I will go through all of your comments. We are known around the region for the quality, value and consistency of our food. Its what sets us apart from other casual dining restaurants in the area. We often serve 1,000 to 1,500 people per day. We agonize over every complaint and reverse engineer each and every one--there are very few. I do recall dining in a five star iconic NYC restaurant once that you would know of. Have to... read more
Very good! My husband had the crab soup and a burger. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich covered in jerk spices with mango chutney (can't remember the name) with fries. For dessert we had two donuts to go. Service was actually pretty fast considering the place was packed and no empty tables. We were still seated immediately and received food quickly. Friendly server too. Would definitely go back next time we're visiting Annapolis.
Always geat food and bar options and a wonderful staff. This was the 1st time we had brunch @ Boat Yard and they exceeded our expectations. Try the Red Eye Brunch Burger!
