Our family had the crabcake dinner.. absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and the cakes were full of lump crabmeat...empty plates by all!
Nephew visiting from out-of-state had his very 1st crab cake ever ~ he really enjoyed it plus he liked the decor. We recommended Boatyard to 3 sets of parents at an evening Naval Academy briefing.
Simple. Good food, good people, cold beer. First time won't be the last time. Done.
I was born and raised on Tilghman's Island so I know a little about crab cakes and oyster fritters. I have also eaten in some good restaurants on the Eastern and Western shores. I would rate the Boat yard crab cake sandwich and soft crab salad the BEST I've ever had including homemade. The service and the whole experience was excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend the Boatyard to anyone looking for a great meal with a casual atmosphere. Great music too with the Jess McQuay band.
