Not the best crab cakes but definitely the best clam chowder and our meal was served super quick. Also loved the oyster shooter! Great atmosphere. Would have been 5 star � if I hadn't expected the crab cakes to be the best ever as they claim. They were loaded though so 4.5 � is really more like it.

The Boatyard was suggested to us on our day trip to Annapolis. It was Monday, the day for the crab cake special. The crab cakes were excellent and the price very reasonable! We were all happy with our meals. Only one restaurant suggestion -> the bathrooms need attention!
First time here but am a Marylander that is picky with crab cakes and had to check it out. Was not disappointed! Definitely see why it is one of the best in the area. The Maryland crab soup was a hit also. Hostesses, bartenders and waitress were all great! I liked there paging system that sends a text to your phone so you can go out and walk around. To bad there aren't shops close by to look in while walking around! Recommend to anyone!
We had great food - soup and crab cakes were amazing! Great service in a fun atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone visiting Annapolis.
