The hostess was rude. We waited for this place to open for at least 20 minutes and when the food arrived some of it was cold not to mention the menu did not have a variety to start with!. Waitress acted like we had been there before when we ask questions! WOULD not recommend

We have been to The Boathouse before and it was lovely. We decided to order to-go and called to get information. We were told to call between 5pm and 6pm. We got our order together and called at 5:25pm only to be told, we are sorry, our kitchen got really busy and we cannot take to-go orders. We verified that we could not call back later and they confirmed that this was not an option. I wish I had nicer things to post this time but I do not.
So I’m not sure why my review was removed from The Boathouse’s page. But here it is again. Interesting that they left my sister’s review up regarding the same visit and issues. Is it because she’s biracial but appears white and I’m biracial but appear more black? It’s also interesting because the response I received from Boathouse was more about how the manager was offended by my sister’s review than the actual issues that took place.
