Put zero effort in trying to be around when I wanted to come look at boats in the fall, even though it was clear I would be driving hours to get there. Posts all these boats on craigslist, and then sends a generic response when you ask questions about them. They promise to get back to you and never do.....just plain lazy.
DO NOT PURCHASE ONE FROM BOAT DEAL in Brewerton NY. They will not stand by what they sell and will rip you off!!!
If I could leave a negative review I would. These guys don't want to work for a sale. I couldn't even get them to get off their lazy duffs and go out to test the appliances, etc on a camper I was willing to drive 150 miles to pick up, CASH IN HAND, no dickering. All I wanted was for them to show me the courtesy of TESTING stuff ahead of time so I knew I wasn't wasting a trip out there. Don't waste your time.
About a year ago I was looking to purchase a boat with no motor or outdrive from Boat Deal Brokers. The boat was a Crownline CR-250 cabin cruiser. My plan was to buy a hull in good shape and later add a motor and outdrive. I was informed by the sales manager that the boat's stringers had been inspected and were all sound. The sales manager also told me he would give me a good deal on a motor when I was ready to buy one.
