Reviews before 2025 are mostly obsolete. The building has a new property owner now. Some current issues: - Security and maintenance teams frequently ignore requests - Elevators regularly break down and don't get fixed for days - Loud neighbors at night who don't care and can be aggressive - Huge potholes in the parking lot - No snow clearing and a crazy icy parking lot Will change my review if there's progress. I would like to give a big shout out to Geri and Randy, our maintenance person. I was having issues with my suite door, at times I could not open the door. I put in a maintenance request and Geri requested Randy check the door. The door was repaired within the hour. Great work and professionalism. Geri and Randy are definite assets to Boardwalk. Thanks again.

I wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback regarding the maintenance team Joseph and Sherie. Ever since they have been back as a team, I have to say that everything is the way it should be. No garbage outside on the ground near the garbage bin , the common area looks great, laundry room, hallways and everything smells clean, not like before 5- 6 days without washing the floor in the hallway ( IT WAS DISGUSTING) it is a relief to have such high standard of service again and not be embarrassed when frien... read more

VIKING ARMS Buildings 1 and 2.. I started out living in building 2 on the 16th floor. The noise carries very easily from above in the penthouse. I couldnt move at all in my bedroom without the person above hearing and vice versa. This floor had a sepreate set of stairs that led up to the 17th floor. It was home to homeless people on countless occasions. I could always tell when a homeless person was in there because they closed the door to that area for privacy when they were there. I have been a resident of Boardwalk Centre Edmonton for 23 years now and have enjoyed my time here. My suite has a stunning skyline view of downtown and a birds eye view of the Rivervalley. Recently, I signed a rare two-year lease at a great rate as a long-term tenant, which was a nice recognition of my loyalty. Like any large residential complex, there have been issues over the years, and I'd be a hypocrite to say I haven't experienced many of the concerns mentioned in other reviews.
