Final Update (09/15): The dealership has failed to recognize why this situation is a problem. I asked them to at least match the cancellation figure using mileage ($2,575) instead of time passed ($1,567) as a gesture of goodwill, but they only offered the time-based amount. This complicates matters on my end, as it ignores the fact that the warranty overlapped almost entirely with Jeep’s 3yr/36k factory warranty and provided no benefit during most of my ownership. Brought my 2021 Jeep Compass for diagnostic service for the check engine light. I was pleased they were able to tell me the issue right off the bat. On the other hand I had taken it to Tracy Jeep on 3 occasions and they never found the issue. I’ll keep it short and sweet. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT AGAIN AT TRACY JEEP... I will be bringing my Jeep back to Boardwalk for all my services. Thank you to the service Manager who went over and beyond to help me with this matter. Very professional and courteous to me.
