Comfortable, classy restaurant with a great bar and great food- ate here two nights this weekend- the last weekend of 2017 for it. Lobster, steak and halibut were outstanding as were the salads and appetizers. Friendly bar crew and owner. Owners of this restaurant also owns the Pearl restaurant next door.
Seth and Angela Raynor are the example to follow on Nantucket and any dining arena. The Boardinghouse is a consistent favorite for good reason--the food and service are exquisite without ego, pomp nor circumstance.
One of my favorite spots on ACK!! Such a great casual vibe in the bar setting. If you want to have a more fancy dinner downstairs it's really cozy in the fall months!
Another amazing dinner on the patio! A long time favorite of ours due to the history on island and friendly, professional staff. The dishes (Summer Vegetable Crudite, Caci E Pepe Arancini to nibble while making the tougher choices of what else.....then the Octopus, the Burrata, and the Summer Squash Flat bread, and the Halibut) off the new menu were so fresh and flavorful. With such a varied menu, it is perfect for all tastes and hunger levels.
