In response to Jim S....I actually was quite surprised to see this review! Upon arrival to this customer's home the 27 year old furnace would not light up. The technician used his meters and his knowledge to diagnose a bad control board. Without being able to get the furnace to even start, you cannot determine "all" the problems that may exist. Do not call Boan, the showed up did no tests, sold us a new board for $500.00, the unit immediately stopped running again, they came back then told us we needed a new furnace. I called someone else who quoted a much better price. They removed the board we never needed to return to boan who wouldn't give us a full refund. Horrible sevice.
