RecommendedI have always had fast replies and service from Boan. I have used their company for many years. We changed the ac/heat when we moved in, they have maintained it and replaced/upgraded everything when we had a house fire. They are excellent at explaining what they can/will do and what to expect.
What a fabulous group of people, from the office to the tech. Very willing to go out of their way to help us out of a serious situation. We have found our new permanent company!

I always used this company but when my 5 year old air conditioner went out that was installed by them, they would not honor the warranty even though I was told by the manufacturer that I was covered. I felt I got a big run around and no satisfaction from them. Too bad to lose a customer of 20+ yesrs that has thrown a lot of business their way!

In response to Jim S....I actually was quite surprised to see this review! Upon arrival to this customer's home the 27 year old furnace would not light up. The technician used his meters and his knowledge to diagnose a bad control board. Without being able to get the furnace to even start, you cannot determine "all" the problems that may exist. Due to the problems that were presenting a control board was necessary in order to get the furnace to start up and to perform further diagnostics if needed. Due to the age and co... read more
Do not call Boan, the showed up did no tests, sold us a new board for $500.00, the unit immediately stopped running again, they came back then told us we needed a new furnace. I called someone else who quoted a much better price. They removed the board we never needed to return to boan who wouldn't give us a full refund. Horrible sevice.
I had Boan Heating and Cooling install new Air Conditioner and Furnace in my house back in 2011 which uses the new R-410A freon. Every since then the system has had issues of one thing or another... Last year I had them come out to my house to check on my system. They had to put in 7 lb of freon so I had them run a leak test, since there has to be an issue why the system needed that much freon being it is only couple years old. I was told I had a pin hole leak in the A-Coil and was leaking freon. They advised that I need to ... read more
