First off the reviews are misleading for this restaraunt as it used to be BO-beau kitchen and when they changed it to this restaurant they kept all of the old reviews which is very deceiving. The AI highlights you see above for Brussels sprouts , steak frites, salmon , happy hour etc are all left over from Bo-beau , Casa Gabriella serves none of those items. Really great food. The beef enchiladas were probably the best I've ever had my life . Great service and cool vibe and indoor outdoor garden type atmosphere.
My wife and I tried some of their happy hours on a Sunday. Sat at the bar and service was great. There was an issue with one of the items but they took care of it promptly. We had the tacos, campechana cocktail, esquite and Caesar salad. For drinks we had the cantarito, michelada and flor de amor. We like the aesthetic of the place and for a moment we were wondering if the food would be authentic Mexican food. While what we tried was limited, everything was tasty. This is a nice cozy spot only about a block away from downtown La Mesa, the layout is a little unconventional, but there's plenty of parking and the food and and service is good.
