Amazing enchiladas!! Sampled other items at the table and everything was legit

사진은 못 찍었으나 어제 빗속을 뚫고 잘 먹고 왔습니다. 17시좀넘어 도착하여 3~40분 대기하면 된다고 들었으나 3~40분 지나도 연락이 없어 다시 찾아가니 또 3~40분 대기하라 하어 총 60~70분 대기하게 되었습니다. 약간 아쉬웠으나 음식과 서버분들의 서비스는 훌륭했습니다. 새우 퀘사디아, 카르니타스 요리, 치킨 요리를 먹었습니다. 토르티야 맛이 일품입니다.
My niece highly recommend this place in La Mesa. So, the family and I made it to Casa Gabriela for happy hour on a weekday. Upon restuarant entry, we were greeted immediately. We got our seat preference at the bar table next to the bar area. Looked like seats were filling up, so we saved couple chairs just in case our friends would be joining. Meh. Went around 4pm for happy hour, and the food was just ok, and very overpriced. Service was prompt but cold and unimpressive. We had the surf/turf burrito (I've had far better - and this was drowning in 3 kinds of sauce), and the carnitas plate (carnitas was tender and flavorful, but no crisp on the outside - again, have had far better). House margaritas on the happy hour menu were fine - but just a premix. Really unimpressed and with all the good mexican options in San Diego, this is an easy pass in the future.
