A few month ago I took my wife's car (BMW X3) to replace the engine mounts. Company policy is that they only install parts that they provide. OK. After a few miles leaving the shop, I noticed that I lost the front wheel alignment. Car is pulling to the side. A few weeks later, car started shaking again when car is idle. Last week, I went to Costco to replace the tires and the mechanic warned me that one of the bolts of the front left wheel was stripped. What I thought would be an expensive fix turned out to be a much simpler and affordable solution. I truly appreciate their honesty and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Especially women who can easily get ripped off.
Had an issue with my 328 I took it in and was told by three different mechanics that it needed a steering rack. So I read the reviews on BMW surgeons called and spoke to Stanley and explained to him what I needed and he was over-the-top helpful explaining to me how I could actually even get a used steering rack to save me some money. When I dropped the car to be worked on, he actually called me the very next day to tell me that it did not need a steering rack.
