X5 stopped charging the battery (bad alternator) when we drove up for thanksgiving. Had X5 towed to Traverse dealer Friday after and they said they could look at it on 12/7. Did not look at it until 12/17. Then it took until 12/31 for mechanic to replace alternator. Was finally able to pick up X5 on 1/3/25, over 5 weeks later after they replaced the alternator.
