Well, made a appointment to look at a vehicle, got a call the night before that many people were interested in the vehicle and that if I wanted to be able to hold it for me that I would need to put a 500 deposit on it over the phone. So I gave the deposit, went down and he reserved the wrong vehicle, so actually no one was coming to look at the vehicle. Now I asked about using my own finance. Just remembered 15 years later how much I hate this place. Bump: Very incompetent service department without a modicum of accountability. They failed to repair my warrantied BMW after FOUR attempts and left me with a further damaged, UNWARRANTIED, inoperable vehicle. I advise every living being to stay far away from BMW of Newport or they might just give you back your car in worse condition. I can't speak to the integrity of the sales department, but service is a nightmare.
Bought my G80 M3 from George and his team at BMW Newport. Negotiated and finalized out of state, and pick up was the easiest experience. The finance manager, Melissa, was also great to work with. She answered all of my questions in detail and explained each paper that I was signing thoroughly.
Absolutely the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. I came in genuinely interested in test driving an M340i, but made it clear upfront that I wasn’t ready to buy that day — which is completely reasonable. Instead of taking me seriously, they handed me off to a salesman who already had another appointment coming in. I barely got to see the car, let alone actually drive it or figure out if it was the right fit for me.
