I am extremely disappointed and honestly shocked by how I was treated—especially as a veteran who recently returned from deployment. BMW of Tuscaloosa failed to provide basic customer care, professionalism, and accountability. I would strongly caution anyone, especially fellow veterans, before trusting this dealership’s service department.
Gotta say I am pleasantly impressed by the service I received at Sewell BMW of Plano and specifically from Michael Russell and Craig Worrall. Especially since I live in Fort Worth, a 60 mile hike from the dealership. While I am familiar with Sewell as I’m on my 2nd Lexus this is my first ever BMW purchase. I had a truly disappointing experience with this dealership. In my opinion, they were completely unprofessional and misleading throughout the entire process. I felt like key information was being hidden from me, and the way things were handled on their lot and even on my property made me very uncomfortable. The worst part was the classic bait-and-switch. Don’t Trust This Dealership! I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this dealership. I bought a BRAND NEW car here just a few months ago, and it’s been nothing but trouble since day one. Within the first day, driving it off the lot....an issue appeared on the dash. Front headlight sensor - I brought it back, and they claimed it was a “minor sensor issue” and supposedly fixed it — but it came back a week or so later. My wife and I actually were taking our 428i in for service about a week ago at Plaza BMW in Creve Coeur in where we had an appointment with Stephanie, who is always pleasant to work with. My wife saw a 2025 X3 in the lot, but was looking for something more affordable. Had a horrible experience at this dealership 10 years ago, but they had a car in inventory I was interested in, but it was a bait and switch. Inquired about a car online. Received immediate response. Made appt to test drive - all within an hour. Got to dealership and "I'm so sorry, we sold it 20 minutes ago, but can we show you something else?" SERIOUSLY? My son and I went to BMW of Owings Miils on the early morning of 10/15/2025 to inquire about a Maryland State Inspection. The service advisor we spoke to was John Walker. He was very impetuous and rude. He answered one of our questions with, "If it passes." I thought this was extremely presumptuous and condescending. Both my son and I were offended, and we left without an inspection or an appointment.
