The 20-year-old spring on our garage door broke, so I started searching online for repair services in Devon. After checking reviews for a few companies, I chose B&M Garage Repair because of their great rating. I called for an estimate and got a reasonable price, then asked for the earliest appointment since I couldn't open the garage door by myself. on the first visit, jermaine put a clamp on the broken garage door spring, rewound the cables, and got my door working again. he let me know it would take a few days to get the right springs to fully fix the door. a few days later, he returned with the springs, replaced them on both garage doors, and lubricated all the moving parts. the price was very reasonable, and i appreciated that they only charged for one service call instead of two like some other places might.
Jermaine and Lucas did an amazing job! They were friendly and provided top-notch customer service. They replaced our whole garage door opener just like we asked, and made sure to install a super quiet one. It works perfectly and is so quiet! If you need a garage door repair in Devon, I highly recommend Jermaine and Lucas. I’ll be using their services again for sure.
jermaine was the most professional and knowledgeable technician i've ever met. he answered all my questions and gave me helpful info about my garage door and opener. he went above and beyond to make sure i understood the repairs, and showed me exactly where my garage door system needed work. b&m garage repair did a great job. i'll definitely use them for any future garage door repair and will recommend them to friends and family.
The good: they showed up 90 minutes after I called and fixed my garage door in under 2 hours. The bad: exorbitantly overpriced. I ended up paying $2000 to have my torsion springs replaced, including a 10% credit card fee which they neglected to inform me about until it was time to pay. They don't accept checks, and it was too late in the day for me to be able to withdraw that amount of cash. While I'm happy with the work done, I won't be using their service again in the future.
