You would think with someone having mental health issues along with OCD issues that impact your daily life when you make an appointment after a long period of time of not having mental health help the person on the other line (i believe he was the receptionist) would be a little nicer and more helpful. So far, I can tell that this is going to be a different experience for me. Having being diagnosed with depression years ago due to a motorcycle accident that left me permanently disfigured, I have always preferred a woman as opposed to a male. Why? Because I feel that they can relate better to me and my situations. However, years later, here I am on another emotional rollercoaster, and I know my first session is always the easiest, but I’m hopeful. At this point, that is all I can ask for .
