I am absolutely floored my 6 week surgical follow-up appointment with Dr. Ailon was ONE MINUTE long! It was a complete waste of an appointment and the time taken to commute and have to wait while the surgeon was late. I had a bunch of unanswered questions and expressed a few concerns/problematic symptoms that had me present to the ER 2 days prior. All Dr. Ailon said was "oh okay." I have a herniated disc. It first turned into sciatica in 2017. In 2019, I was referred to this center after losing a significant amount of strength in my left leg. I met with Dr. Jennifer, who recommended physiotherapy. I went through five years of physio, paying out of pocket since it wasn’t covered by MSP. Recently, I injured my back again, and now the herniated disc has caused sciatica in my right leg. I was sent to them from the hospital, per my mri. Going paralyzed on my left side, due to a spur growing straight down onto my c6 girding the bone away. 2/3rds gone which the screener there showed me and explained. Yet they turned me away. I didn’t even get to see a doctor. They didn’t even offer any form of help or guidance. Then magically lost my images after and refused to help with that either. Very disappointing.
It is disappointing when people are saying there is shortage of doctors and nurses all around the world, and I would say,: you haven't seen the world, in my back home you can see 10 specialist in one week, you can do MRI in one day and you can book surgery in a few days, canada health system is going down because someone else is taking money from people to pay for it, so they make mess in it، they literally tell doctors to don't care for people, if you have spinal problems and you need MRI, doctor have to send you to Xray fi... read more
