Simply no difference between this company's replacement upholstery work and the Grady-White factory original upholstery in terms of both quality materials and workmanship.
I had my boat's interior done by them about 2-3 years ago and it came with a 5 year warranty. Within a year and a half it started to turn color and now is almost completely discolored and cracking. I took the proper precautions to make sure it stayed nice and it still turned color. I then tried to call about the warranty because I've never had marine canvass turn color so fast. Kerry and his team did a great job on the custom front and rear canvas shades for my boat. It was short notice for a family vacation in the Keys. The shades look great and are so easy to put up and take down. They even used my existing mooring cover mounts for the front shade which I really appreciated so they didn't need to mount new channels for the shades. I'd highly recommend Bluewater Yacht Canvas if you're looking for an excellent custom job!
I was a repeat customer for the same job that he did several years back. Kerry quoted me one price verbally which he knew the item because he originally made it for me many years ago.I dropped the Bimini top off and received a call 2 weeks later and the price was $500 more than what I was quoted. I took my business somewhere else and had the complete job done with the same product( Sumbrella) for a total of $600.
I dropped my cover off for an estimate for a replacement and I never heard back from them. I tried calling several times and left messages but didn't get an answer. I finally gave up after 2 weeks and went to pick it up. It was sitting on the counter folded up exactly how I dropped it off so I asked for it back and the guy handed it to me without even asking why. So rude!!!
