Lovely cafe at San Clemente downtown! We ordered coffee, beer and 2 sandwiches and they were all quite delicious. My wife is a coffee enthusiast and she said the capuccino is one of the best in OC. I loved how they made the toasted sandwiches with high quality ingredients. Patio is very relaxing after a beautiful beach walk, definitely recommend stopping in for nice food and refreshments. Service is 5 star as well, the waitress was so kind to prepare a cold glass for my beer.
Ordered the BLATE and I do not recommend it. I've had bacon as a side here and they do a great job. This time though the bacon on this capital B for Bacon sandwich had the three tiniest strips of bacon. It should have been called a brioche and arugula sandwich because that's all you could see or taste with a slight creaminess of avocado 🥑. The wedges are solid and a good filler but for the price and the amount of meat I'll never order that sandwich again. Waited 1 hr for the food, about 20 mins for the coffee. It’s not the staffs fault, there was only 1 cook, 1 barista, and 1 bus girl and firing on all cylinders so they were severely understaffed, but the management needs to give them more help.
