My apartment was infested with black mold. The entire west and north walls, the window area on the east wall, and the only window unit were all completely infested. I placed several complaints and the only thing that was done was they painted over a couple of the problem areas. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. Had problems with the apartment. Had ants everywhere and bugs everywhere. Toilet was always broken. Management was also very very rude. Everyone in our apartment building complained about her. We moved out before our lease was even up. Couldnt stand it there at all. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE.
I just moved in 6 months ago, thought it was allright, but I was mistaken! The management sucks, now more than ever, and it cant get any worse now. All the apartments need new windows, you might as well jsut leave your windows open, they just painted the outside of the buildings, they oversprayed onto the roof and every other building is a different color. I really dislike these apartments. I have been here since January of 08. The good thing about these apartments are they accept pets but you have to pick up your own dogs poop. We pay an additonal 25 dollars for pet rent. Maintance man is really nice. Management isnt really here to help. If had to rent here again I would NOT. I would find somewhere else.
I am very happy with Bluestem Apartments....I got a good deal at the beginning of my lease that definitely helped out with moving expenses. My apartment was definitely a good value; it had been remodeled w/ dishwasher (yea!) and built in microwave and was still cheaper than a lot of other dumpy places in town. Overall, very satisfied.
on the positives, they allowed pets, also the maintenance crew and Kayla, in the office, are very nice. Also, the apartments themselves are pretty nice. On the negatives, i had multiple mice, an ant problem in my bedroom, all over my bed and in my clothes......a problem that i had for 4 months and was never remedied. i had to caulk my own bathroom and cracks in my bedroom walls to take care of the ants. the heater didnt work for a long time and i couldnt sleep in my room because it was so cold. the parking and pavement in fr... read more
dont be fooled like i was, very disappointed. in the summer it was 87 degrees F. My room was 98 degrees F, or maybe my themometer was broke but i highly doubt it.. and laundry facility looks like a jail.. washers and dryers have rust inside of them
