A horrid place. I hope to never return. The staff are NOT coordinated. So many instances of nurses saying "That AINT YO ROOM DONT GO IN THERE" because they simply dont inform each other about each patient. This place is garbage. I hated every second. Someone stole my glasses on the first day. I was blind for a week. This place SCREAMS "file a lawsuit" with each passing day. Oh yeah... 0 stars Blue Ridge stated they could take care of my DD friend down there the hospital they were at didnt have the Oxygen they needed for them and they wanted them on a psychiatric hold so they SENT THEM HERE STATING THEY COULD CARE FOR THEM they lied to hospital staff to get the patient transferred down there once they got to blue ridge THEY DIDNT have anything to care for them it took over 36hr to get the oxygen they needed (that they said they had on-site thats why the patient was transferred there) they didnt even know h... read more
This place was supposed to release my mom this past Friday, and even set up who was to pick her up, then on that day as they were preparing discharge papers, they said oh, nevermind she has to stay, some third party therapist came in and said that, now they’re saying she can’t be released until her next court date in April APRIL!! And this place is supposed to help mental health patients??? They need investigated THOROUGHLY, in my opinion they’re forcing patients to stay longer based on other reviews “for concerns for them” ... read more
We were very disappointed in the lack of communication from the staff and the social worker. Phone calls were not returned to us. There was no discharge plans in place . We would not recommend this facility. I would not even give it one star however I wasn’t able to post this unless one was given.
We had a family member at this facility. He got really good care. He said the staff was very kind and compassionate. The social worker stayed in contact and they developed a good care plan for him. He had a very good experience. Would definitely recommend.
