Blueprint Capital should be trying to do better by future generations of this city, this world. Another iconic tree is slated for chopping under their development - a magnificent Doug Fir in View Ridge that may even be older than the city itself. Mature trees provide more services for free than can begin to be itemized and once they are gone, it is the community that suffers. They could save this tree. Construction workers just snagged the internet/power lines in my neighborhood with a backhoe and drove off pretending they didn't understand English (eastern European guys). And before Blueprint replies something like "we're just the business end—the construction company is responsible for what happens on-site" let me just say: Blueprint hired the construction company. If I screw up a job for a client, part of that responsibility falls on whoever hired me to do the job.
