From arguing with me that my phone number to contact me was wrong , that it was a number for blue cross and blue shield ... and the doctor in charge of her case insisting apon it ..I really should have taken her someplace else ... but she was too sick to move ....my cell phone number was correct ... she didn’t know how to use the phone system ! BluePearl Renton completely failed me and my dying cat on October 12-14. I WOULD NEVER TAKE any animal to this incompetent and uncaring place. They called my cat "it" and "your pet" instead of her name. They left her without medical care or hydration while she was waiting and then used dehydration to threaten me into keeping her there for the night. They misdiagnosed my cat 4 times in 48 hours, yet charged me several thousand dollars for their "efforts" and finally refused her care sending my dying cat home while she was ... read more

Everyone who says that once they have your money - it is so true. They do take advantage of people in vulnerable situations. I do realize that emergency care is more expensive, but their prices are insane and their billing system is confusing. It is ALL about the money. Once my baby was taken home, there was NO follow-up. NO compassion. If I had only checked the reviews, talked to friends who had the same experiences..... Actually, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The one star was gracious. I

Our dog had surgery for a broken leg. After spending $6000 for the surgery, we had to bring her back twice because she was not getting better. They didn't do anything on first visit (1 1/2 hr drive), just said that a pin may have come loose and to bring her back in 2 weeks. On second visit they took an x-ray and saw that a pin was sticking out and irritating her, causing her to be in pain. If they only took Medicare I would go to them personally. I have always had favorable experiences with the 3 dogs I’ve needed to bring to them. The clinical Dx.’s have always been accurate, thorough and delivered in a compassionate and empathetic way. Alan—-Maitland 10/16/19

Robert O Mr. Shaw, I brought my dog, Walter in for emergency treatment around 6:15 PM. I was told it would be a few hours and I could board him for $100. I decided to wait. I could hear Walter whining while I was in the lobby. I then heard a Blue Pearl employee yell at Walter to shut up. It took all my restraint to not barge in the room and explain to your employee they may be in the wrong line of work. I want to give the Staff from check in to check out 5 STARS! But the Dr Care and concern and knowledge 2 Stars, I drove 1 1/2 to go to this place that has came highly recommended. My little dog was really sick and I was looking for help and answers. The asst. that took me back was far more concerned and comforting than the Dr was. She came in with the attitude of I don't know and if she told me once she told me 20 times when I ask questions …I don't know it not my specialty. First, years ago, they successfully performed an operation in my dog's leg that was not in any way a guaranteed success. She never had a problem with it the last seven years of her life. Recently, while taking her to their clinic in an emergency, she passed away en route. They offered to keep her for a week until we decided what we wanted to do with her, gave us a clay relief of her paw print when we picked her up several days later, and sent us a sympathy card the following week.
