I’m not one to typically write bad reviews but in this situation, I feel it is necessary. I brought my pet there as a referral from my primary veterinary. They were not able to properly diagnose my dog. Blue Pearl Animal Hospital’s staff are friendly and kind, but they did not do their diligence when speaking to me about my pet and refused to own their mistake and make it right. We started with an x-ray, it showed there was obviously something in his throat. Whether it was a tumor, or an object was unknown. I think it’s impo... read more

I do not recommend this practice due to a lack of communication and appropriate follow up appts post surgery. We had taken an 8 month old pup by recommendation to the Specialty Dept for an eye surgery due to an entropic eye lid and paid several thousand dollars for the procedure. Because they were so busy they couldn’t complete a post surgery follow up appt for 30 days. (I was told by a staff person they are double and triple booking appts). We voiced our concerns over the length of time he would have stitches in his eye go... read more

0/10 Unfortunately, our dog had an emergency situation and more unfortunately, BluePearl was the only emergency animal facility that was able to provide the services we needed. We didn’t get the news we had hoped for and ultimately made the decision it was in the best interest of our friend to put him down. I discussed the end-of-life options with the front desk. The option we chose was based upon the description given to me which was the private cremation package at nearly $600.00. We were ok with the cost given the d... read more

Taking my 6yo chi in when he was in CHF. I knew it was his end and it took them 3hrs to pts after he came out both arms shaved and bloody he was in a daze. They said I have 5 mins with him because he struggled long enough. I believe he struggled with them behind closed doors. The end of life and couldn't breath he went through he'll. Never will I walk through their doors again.

This review is unfortunate. There were a lot of splendid and caring people at Blue Pearl we got the opportunity to interact it. I just wish the institution in general had a heart, or at least a caring or culpable bone in their system. Our dog nearly died in September courtesy of a drug being administered via Blue Pearl (Mycohphenolate), and a drug they continued to tell us to give her after she'd gotten sick and been hospitalized there. It is a drug our later research proved to regularly produce the Gastrointestinal issu... read more

Robert O Mr. Shaw, I brought my dog, Walter in for emergency treatment around 6:15 PM. I was told it would be a few hours and I could board him for $100. I decided to wait. I could hear Walter whining while I was in the lobby. I then heard a Blue Pearl employee yell at Walter to shut up. It took all my restraint to not barge in the room and explain to your employee they may be in the wrong line of work. Approximately three hours later I was told due to the number of patients Walter hasn’t been treated, and I could board him... read more
