Completely unimpressed with this location and the team that works there. Went in to exchange something and it was past the 90 days. Called customer service and was told to leave my phone number for the manager to call me. That was on Tuesday morning. Today is Friday and no call no follow through and absolutely no reason to shop in this store. Have been this location in the past and cannot stand the condescending way they talk to people.

Bluemercury La Jolla specifically is an awful experience every time I’ve walked in the building. First two times, I dropped everything I was going to buy and left. The last two times I was in a pinch and at least knew what I was getting, not needing any customer service which I wasn’t going to receive anyhow. Being in a consumer industry and possibly commission base it is baffling how rude the floor manager is. Yesterday I had time to kill and needed a few items, so I tried one last time. This place isn’t even prestigious as they act. We had a blond white-woman give us our price of what we could afford. Never brought up what price range we were looking for however she showed us cheaper items. Lol!

I was there with a friend to purchase a face wash and asked if they carried a certain brand. An older white woman with bleached hair, sitting in the back on her phone, immediately repeated the brand name back to me in a rude tone and said, “We don’t carry that brand.” Her attitude made us feel very unwelcome, almost like she wanted us out of the store the moment we walked in. Came in for new clean makeup options and Morgan spent so much time explaining all the brands to me and went above and beyond to show me how the products looked on my skin. She is the best and I feel confident in recreating the look at home.
