I’m writing this review after living here for three years. There were a lot of issues with this apartment but what completely takes precedence was the fact that there are bats in our building and the company pretty much did nothing about it. Last winter there was a bat that was on the ground leading up to my apartment which I noticed when I walked in. Downstairs neighbors are extremely loud, and I am told they have been talked to, and will be moving in 2 weeks.. so basically my child and my very pregnant self have to deal with the dog barking, the crashing, banging and running around until then 🙄 update: neighbors moved and it is pretty quiet but if there are noisy tenants, good luck. Otherwise peaceful.
Blue House Companies should be a last resort when looking for apartments. When I call them I can never get into contact with the manager. They always say they will put my issue as a "priority" for management and it still takes weeks/months to get my issue resolved. The amount of times that I contact them for the same issue is ridiculous. They charge late fees before the NYS Mandated grace period is over, and they took a "non-refundable" deposit which is also unlawful in NYS. Logan was super helpful in finding an apartment to fit all of my needs. He was also very knowledgeable about the area, which was great for someone moving from out of state! Very responsive and punctual, would highly recommend!
Wish I read the reviews before, then I wouldn't have to deal with untimely manner for maintenance services, harassment and down deposit that was never received, returned, now cashed. Please people, stay away at all cost.
