Probably one of the worst experiences I have had with a Dr. I was seen at the Lexington office by a PA who was wonderful but Dr. Schafer in London made me feel that because I was young and didn't need a hip replacement he wasn't interested. I think I was in the room for maybe 2 minutes. I'm all for efficiency but none of my questions were answered and I was brushed off. Just because I'm young doesn't mean my issue doesn't matter. I felt like Dr Shafer stood still long enough to listen and talk with me.
Great made me feel very comfortable. Staff great and patient.
High risk? No problem...Dr. Eric Schafer is a wonderful provider. He LISTENS. He CARES. He wants you to get better! He showed so much compassion during my consultation for a total hip joint replacement, he listened when other providers wouldn't. He is THE BEST. He answers questions. He makes himself available to you if anything comes up (that is really saying something there). I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back.
